About Doug Foley Jr

Doug Foley Jr. has been involved in drag racing since his toddler years, first as a spectator with his dad’s Top Alcohol Dragster team. His behind-the-wheel career started at age 8, driving Junior Dragsters. At 14 he moved up to a crewmember position on his dad's 8,000 horsepower Top Fuel car. His step up to the Super Comp and Super Gas classes started this year at age 16.  

Doug is an accomplished racer already, with a career that includes a win at Atco Raceway in New Jersey. He was runner up at the Junior Dragster Southern Nationals, held at Mooresville Dragway. His national event resume includes a semifinal appearance at the IHRA Nitro Jam race in Alberta, Canada.

When not behind the wheel of a racecar in competition, Doug can be found instructing classes at the family’s drag racing school. He receives support from Doug Foley’s Drag Racing School, and NVW Motorsports Promotion.
